ANNOUNCEMENTS  (Page updated 4/27/2012) Mini-Shedra with Khenchen Rinpoche: Fri, March 30 thru Sunrch 30 thru Sun, May, May 20, 2012.   Full details on attending or viewing video of the teachings online can be found here.  We are at weekend #5.  Khenchen Rinpoche's teachings begin at 9AM each morning  Friday, April 27th Topic:  Chapter 12 - The Perfection of Generosity. Khenpo Tsultrim's teaching on the Mahayanasutralamkara, The Ornament of the Mahayana Sutra, has been very powerful!  This text was transmitted to Asanga by Buddha Maitreya and is known to be the basis of the Mind Only - Yogachara School of Buddhism, which later became refined in the Madhyamika School of Buddhism proposed by Nagarjuna.  Both of the texts contain the fundamentals of Mahayana (Middle Way) Buddhism.     Khenmo Trinlay's discussion group at the end of each day has very, very helpful in organizing this new material with her informative.   Everyone is invited to the Shedra regardless of their experience or training and they should take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
